hard in these things
The film The Kashmir Files depicts the atrocities in the Valley against Kashmiri Hindus in 1990. There were many challenges in making the film. Pallavi Joshi told News18 that the shooting was only a small part of the entire film. Research, finding people, talking to them, raising money for the film, choosing actors were all very challenging. Eventually a fatwa was also issued. Pallavi says, shooting was the easiest part. It took us 4 years to do the film and just 1 month to shoot.
IMDb downgrades ‘The Kashmir Files’ rating! Vivek Agnihotri said – this is wrong
said wisely, don’t say anything
Pallavi says, there was only one problem in the shooting that when we were shooting in Kashmir, a fatwa was issued in our name. The good thing is that our last scene was to be shot then. I told Vivek to finish the scene immediately and go to the airport. We were leaving but I told him not to say anything, just finish the shoot. Because we don’t get a chance to come again. We finished the shoot and sent some people to the hotel and said, you guys pack your luggage and come straight to the sets and we will leave. That’s the only challenge we faced during the shoot.
