The film ‘The Kashmir Files’ directed by Vivek Agnihotri has entered the 100 crore club and recently this film also made its highest one day collection. The film showed strength by earning Rs 19 crore 15 lakh in a single day. After a week of release, now this film has stood at par with Bahubali 2 in terms of 8th day collection. Released last Friday, the film’s earnings graph has steadily gone up and based on true events and deep research, the film narrates the story of the injustice meted out to Kashmiri Pandits in 1990.
Highest collection ever
The film’s earnings figures have been released by trade analyst Taran Adarsh from his official Twitter handle. Taran Adarsh wrote, ‘The Kashmir Files has made history. The 8th day collection of the film has been Rs 19 crore 15 lakh. The 8th day collection of Bahubali 2 was Rs 19 crore 75 lakhs and TKF has also defeated Dangal in terms of 8th day collection.
Bahubali 2 and Dangal are giving competition
Let us inform that the business of the 8th day of Dangal was Rs 18 crore 59 lakh. Both these films have been iconic hits. The Kashmir Files currently stands with the biggest blockbuster films of the country. Talking about the earnings of the second week, on Friday, the film earned Rs 19 crore 15 lakh and now the total collection of the film has gone up to Rs 116 crore 45 lakh.
Will easily earn Rs 150 crore
Taran Adarsh tweeted that this film will very easily cross the 150 crore mark in the second week. Amazing advance booking has been seen in the second weekend as well. The film is being dubbed in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam to reach as many audiences as possible. Actors like Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar have played important roles in the film.
