Mumbai. These days Randeep Hooda is in discussion about the film ‘Swatantrya Veer Savarkar’. In this film, he not only played the lead role but also directed it. He has worked hard for the film. Have undergone physical transformation. Been on diet for a long time. Recently, during an interview, he told that he had gone through physical and financial difficulties while making the film. He told that he had run out of money while making the film. He had also stopped shooting the film.
Randeep Hooda called it a dream project. In an interview with BeerBiceps Podcast, Randeep talked about the ups and downs he faced while making the film. He also told that when he was going through financial crisis, his father helped him. He also said that people should not see it as right wing but should look at the journey of a freedom fighter.
Wanted to release the film last year
Randeep Hooda said, “I wanted to release this film on 15th August last year and then on 26th January this year. I put everything into it. We faced difficulties because the team that was initially associated with the project did not intend to make a quality film. He just wanted to make a film.”
Randeep Hooda mortgaged his father’s property
Randeep Hooda said, “We faced financial difficulties. My father had saved and bought two or three properties for me in Mumbai, I mortgaged them and invested the money in the film. I couldn’t stop. This film did not get anyone’s support.” Randeep expressed disappointment over the film not getting much success.
