Manoj Bajpayee’s 100th film ‘Bhaiya Ji’ is released.

Now soon Manoj Bajpayee will be seen in the 100th film of his career ‘Bhaiya Ji’. In his 30-year film journey, Manoj Bajpayee has seen many ups and downs. Manoj Bajpayee also appeared in Shahrukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s blockbuster ‘Veer Zara’, but filmmaker Yash Chopra, who produced this film, had said something to Manoj Bajpayee, which has not come out of his heart till date.
He played the character of Raza Shirazi in Veer-Zara
Manoj Bajpayee recently spoke openly about his career and other anecdotes in a conversation with Bollywood Bubble. Manoj Bajpayee, who proved his talent in films from Satya to The Family Man, told that Yash Chopra had flatly refused to work with him and even said, ‘I don’t make films for actors like you.’ Manoj Bajpayee played the role of Zara (Preity Zinta)’s fiance Raza Shirazi in Shah Rukh Khan-Preity Zinta starrer Veer-Zaara with the late filmmaker.
Worked with Yash Chopra in Veer-Zara
Manoj Bajpayee recalled Yash Chopra’s honest words while referring to this anecdote and said- ‘He did not give me any false hopes. He never promised me anything. Yes, he clearly told me that he does not make films like me. He said – I do not make films for actors like you, so how could he promise me anything? I found his words very true. He did not want to give me false hopes, so he told me clearly. He had a lot of respect for me as an actor.’
Even today people talk about my character in Veer-Zaara
Manoj Bajpayee further told that Yash Chopra was very impressed with his work, he liked his work very much. Manoj says- ‘He told me- as long as Veer Zaara remains, you will be praised.’ His words proved to be true. Manoj said, ‘Even today wherever I go, people talk about it.’ Earlier Manoj Bajpayee has mentioned this with Humans of Bombay. Talking about the work front, Manoj has now knocked on the theatres with the action drama ‘Bhaiya Ji’.
