New Delhi, December 13 (IANS). Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav said that the Ayurveda manufacturing sector has grown eight times in the last 10 years.
He said this during the inaugural ceremony of the 10th World Ayurveda Conference and Arogya Expo 2024.
He posted on his social media platform X. In the post he wrote – Devbhoomi participated in the inaugural ceremony of the World Ayurveda Congress and Arogya Expo 2024 organized in Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand.
This platform is an excellent effort to promote the global importance of Ayurveda. This initiative reflects the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a healthy and self-reliant India by combining traditional knowledge and modern healthcare. Let us together strengthen the ancient heritage of Ayurveda!
He has said that today we have gathered here in the presence of more than 5,500 delegates. In which more than 350 international participants from 54 countries also participated. I am glad that all of them will discuss digital health and present their views on Ayurveda from its various perspectives.
He said that on the occasion of the 9th Ayurveda Day, a nationwide “Country Nature Test Campaign” was launched at the All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi. This initiative to assess the nature of more than one crore individuals based on Ayurveda principles is a significant achievement. I request everyone to actively participate in this campaign and contribute to this important endeavour.
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of AYUSH, said that we now have technically enabled solutions available with the AYUSH Grid. It revolutionizes healthcare with innovations that enhance effectiveness, safety and affordability. He also said, “More than $1.3 billion of investment from global partners is in the pipeline.”
This biennial event is organized by the World Ayurveda Foundation (WAF), an initiative of Vigyan Bharati.
Over 5,500 Indian delegates and over 350 delegates from 54 countries have registered to participate in the four-day event. In addition to the plenary sessions, the event will include more than 150 scientific sessions and 13 collaborative events.
