Eid Celebrations in Ranchi: The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr was celebrated in a grand manner in Ranchi. Thousands of people arrived at the city’s major mosques, such as Jama Masjid, Doranda Masjid and Ittehad Mosque, to offer prayers from the morning. After the Namaz, people hugged each other and congratulated and gave the message of brotherhood and peace in the society.
Happiness spread across the city
On the occasion of Eid, the streets of Ranchi were illuminated by lights and decorations. There was a walk in the markets, and there was a huge crowd of people at the shops of sweets. People tasted traditional dishes like Sevaiyan, Kebab and Biryani fiercely. People celebrated this festival enthusiastically while shopping in local markets.
Administration
The Ranchi administration had made tight security arrangements in view of Eid. Police forces were deployed in various parts of the city, and monitored through drones. The DC and SSP visited the major mosques and reviewed the security arrangements and appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony.
Raj leaders’ message
On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand and other prominent leaders greeted Eid on Eid. He said that this festival is a symbol of mutual love, harmony and dedication. Religious leaders also gave the message of unity and brotherhood and appealed to maintain peace in the society.
Help of poor and needy
The festival of Eid-ul-Fitr is also a symbol of charity and service. Many social organizations in Ranchi distributed food and clothes to the poor and the needy. Special programs were organized in mosques and madrasas, in which gifts were given to poor children and special feasts were organized for them.
