Bharuch. After the incident of stone pelting on Ganpati Pandal in Surat, Gujarat, now there is news of stone pelting between two communities in Bharuch over hoisting of religious flag. Bharuch police reached there as soon as they got the news of stone pelting and prevented the situation from worsening. According to Bharuch DSP Mayur Chavda, on Tuesday night at 10.30 pm, police got the news that people of two communities have clashed and stones are being pelted. On getting the information, police immediately reached the spot and controlled the situation.

According to the information, at the place in Bharuch where stone pelting happened due to communal tension, Ganesh festival is being celebrated on one side. On the other side, some people put up Islamic flags. After which the dispute started and then people from both the sides gathered and pelted stones. At present, the situation is under control here. A large number of police personnel have also been deployed. Recently, there was an incident of stone pelting on Ganpati pandal in Surat city of Gujarat. Police had arrested 27 people in that case. Regarding the stone pelting in Bharuch, the police say that investigation is still going on.

Earlier also, during Ganesh Utsav, incidents of stone pelting by miscreants have been taking place in many states of the country. Ignoring the vigilance of the police, such elements still try to disrupt the peace in cities and towns by doing such incidents. The incidents of Ratlam, Surat and Bharuch are examples of this.
