According to the Meteorological Department, like every year, western disturbances may become active several times till the month of February 2025. Apart from this, due to the effect of La Nina the sea surface temperature is lower than the land. Due to this, the cold in India is going to be very intense. The Meteorological Department has already said that this year there will be severe cold compared to other years. Even in 2024, the cold continued till the last week of March. Due to the effect of La Nina, a lot of rain was also seen in the monsoon season this year. Most parts of the country received more than average rainfall. At the same time, the highest rainfall in the month of December in 101 years was also recorded in Delhi recently.
