Lucknow. Anarchist elements again tried to cause a train accident in UP. According to the news of Dainik Hindustan newspaper, anarchist elements placed stones and fire extinguishers i.e. fire retardants on the railway tracks in Mirzapur and Ballia of UP on Saturday. At the same time, cement sleepers were placed on the railway tracks in Mahoba. According to the news, a fire extinguisher was found lying on the railway track at Jivanathpur station in Mirzapur at 5 am. A shepherd placed a cement sleeper on the track in Kabrai, Mahoba. He has been arrested by the police. The search is on for those who conspired to cause train accidents in Ballia and Mirzapur. There was no train accident in these three cases.

Even before this, several times in UP, unruly elements have conspired to cause a train accident by placing heavy goods on the railway tracks. Such incident happened twice in Kanpur. Every time a major accident was averted due to the alertness of train drivers. Railways has also asked IB (Intelligence Bureau) to investigate such cases, but till now the people who conspired to cause accidents by placing heavy goods on the railway tracks have not been completely identified. For the last two-three months, similar conspiracies to cause train accidents are coming to light. Earlier, incidents of stone pelting on Vande Bharat Express trains continued.

Railways has also decided to install cameras outside the trains to identify those who throw stones at trains and keep heavy luggage on the tracks. However, it will take a lot of time to install cameras in all trains. RPF patrolling on railway tracks has also been increased, but the tracks are thousands of kilometers long and it is not easy to monitor everywhere. In such a situation, the anarchist elements are continuing their conspiracy unabated.
