Delhi-NCR Weather: फिर से जलमग्न होंगी दिल्ली-NCR की सड़कें, भारी बारिश का अलर्ट जारी, 18-19 सितंबर को जमकर बरसेंगे बादल

New Delhi. These days, there is heavy rain in many parts of the country, due to which flood-like conditions have also arisen in some states. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department (IMD) has also predicted heavy rain in the national capital Delhi and NCR region. According to IMD, the rain system has become active in Delhi, due to which there may be heavy rain in the capital and its surrounding areas in the coming days.

Weather pattern will change due to remnants of cyclone Yagi

According to the Meteorological Department, the remnants of cyclone ‘Yagi’ formed in the Pacific Ocean may cause heavy rains in the National Capital Region (NCR) and Delhi on September 18. This system, which has now turned into a low pressure area, is currently active in Jharkhand and is likely to move rapidly towards the northwest. This pressure will reach Delhi and NCR via many parts of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Due to this system, heavy rains are also predicted in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Uttar Pradesh, for which the IMD has issued an orange alert.

There is a possibility of rain in Delhi on 18-19 September

Moderate to heavy rain is expected in Delhi on September 18 and 19. According to the Meteorological Department report, there may be heavy rain on September 18, while light rain is expected on September 19. During this time, waterlogging may occur in the capital, due to which people may face problems.

Yellow alert issued

A yellow alert has been issued for Delhi and NCR on September 18. A yellow alert means that the weather will be worse than normal, although it will not be as severe as an orange alert. Nevertheless, citizens are advised to remain vigilant and keep getting the latest weather information.

Temperature and waterlogging warnings

The Meteorological Department has said that this week the maximum temperature of Delhi will be between 32 to 35 degree Celsius, while the minimum temperature will be around 23 to 25 degree Celsius. At the same time, there is a possibility of waterlogging and traffic chaos due to heavy rains, due to which people may face problems in commuting.

Delhi has already received more rain than the monthly average in the first 15 days of September, and more rain is expected in the coming days. Citizens have been advised to take special precautions during the rains, as roads may become slippery and flood-like conditions may arise in low-lying areas.
