Namaz will be read at 6.45 am in Jama Masjid in Delhi. At the same time, Namaz will be offered at Idgah at 10 am in Lucknow. Before Eid, there is a lot of movement in the markets. The Rojedars looked at the moon after Iftar and then congratulated each other on Eid. For several days, people were eagerly waiting for the Eid moon. As soon as the moon was seen, there was an atmosphere of happiness. People hugged each other and started congratulating each other.

Police made strict security arrangements

UP Director General of Police (DGP) Prashant Kumar on Saturday held a meeting with officials from across the state through video conferencing and gave necessary guidelines regarding security arrangements in view of festivals.

Due to the festival of Eid, a huge crowd was also seen in the markets. Crowds of buyers gathered at readymade clothes and shoes shops, which led to a boom in business. Ehtesham Ahmed, president of the All India Industries Trade Board in Sambhal, said, “Eid has thronged the markets. Business is flourishing a lot and sales are also getting good. ”Textile trader Aslam also said something similar. He said, “The business on this Eid was very good. Sales were also good and festive atmosphere was also happy. ”
