India started Operation Freedom. Army received open exemption. Pakistan shut down aircraft for India.

After a horrific terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired a high-level security meeting on Tuesday. 26 common citizens died in this attack, and behind this, Pakistan -backed terrorist organizations are being told.

Indian Army gets complete exemption

In the meeting, Prime Minister Modi said that the entire “operational freedom” has been given to the Indian Army – that is, the army itself will decide when, how to take revenge. PM Modi clearly said, “It is our national resolve to crush terrorism.

Who was present in the meeting?

The country’s big security officers attended this important meeting:

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval

Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan

Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi

Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh Tripathi

Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal A.P. Lion

Strict message to Pakistan

The Prime Minister warned the terrorists and their “guardians” (ie Pakistan) and said that they would be found in any corner of the earth and punished. He said that the punishment will be given beyond his imagination.

India has taken strict action before

2016: After the Uri attack, India carried out a surgical strike across the LOC.

2019: 40 CRPF jawans were martyred in the Pulwama attack, after which India did Balakot air strike.

This time too, a stringent answer is expected in the country.

Political and diplomatic decisions were also taken

Soon after the attack, the Cabinet Security Committee (CCS) met in which several steps were taken:

The Indus Water Treaty with Pakistan was suspended.

Diplomatic pressure will be created to show the role of Pakistan to the world.

Government officials said the attack was carried out to disrupt peace and development in Jammu and Kashmir.

Pakistan’s response

In response to India’s footsteps, Pakistan has suspended the Shimla Agreement and banned the entry of India’s aircraft into its aerial border. This may further increase tension between the two countries.
