India to Push for S400: India wants the remaining 2S-400 missile defense system from Russia quick

New Delhi. The struggle between India and Pakistan may have stopped, but the Modi government does not want to take any kind of negligence in the security of the country. For this reason, the Modi government is now sending National Security Advisor i.e. NSA Ajit Doval to Russia. According to the English newspaper Economic Times, Ajit Doval will go to Russia next week. There he will ask the government of Russia that the 2 and S-400 missile defense systems to India should be given soon. Earlier, Russia had handed over 3S-400 missile defense systems to India. There was a deal to buy a 5S-400 missile defense system between India and Russia, but due to the Ukraine war, Russia gave only 3S-400 to India.

Recently there was a military conflict between India and Pakistan. According to Indian Army sources, the S-400 played a major role in stopping Pakistan’s missile attack during this period. After receiving 5S-400, the army will be able to deploy them on Pakistan as well as LAC between China and India. When the conflict between China and India in 2022 increased after the Galwan incident, Russia gave 3S-400 missile defense systems to India. Those who were posted on LAC. India and Pakistan have about 2000 km long border and LoC. At the same time, LAC is 3488 km with China.

India and Russia had signed a deal of 35000 crores for the 5S-400 missile defense system. Under this deal, all 5S-400 squadrons were to be available to India by the end of 2024. It is believed that India will soon get the remaining 2S-400 missile defense system on Ajit Doval’s visit to Russia. Actually, Operation vermilion against Pakistan has not been closed yet. The Modi government has just postponed it. In such a situation, if there was a struggle between the two countries again, then all the 5 missile defense systems of S-400 will play a big role in dealing with any move of China as well as China.
