The Reasi district administration on Saturday organized the 11th International Yoga Day 2025 by organizing a special yoga session on the world’s highest railway bridge, prestigious Chenab Rail Bridge.
Civil administration, Northern Railway, CRPF officials, residents and yoga enthusiasts participated in this program organized on the world’s highest railway bridge.
A yoga session was held amidst the quiet landscape of the Chenab Valley, where the participants performed various asanas. On 9 June, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the world’s highest railway Arch Bridge on the Chenab River. This amazing sample of architecture, Chenab Rail Bridge, is 359 meters above the river.
It is a 1,315 meter long Steel Arch Bridge designed to withstand seismic and air conditions. A major impact of this bridge will be to increase the contact between Jammu and Srinagar. It will officially connect the Kashmir Valley to the rest of India through rail for the first time in history.
On the 11th International Yoga Day, wide participation was observed in all states. The theme of this year is “an Earth, a health for a health”, which echoes India’s approach to global welfare and reflects the integrated approach of welfare. This “Survey Santu Niramaya” (all diseases are free) inspired by Indian ethos, emphasizes the interaction of human and planetary health.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the 11th International Yoga Day celebrations, where he described yoga as a gift “beyond age”, which is beyond all borders and adds humanity to “health and harmony”. Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged the international community to adopt the international community as “inner peace” and make yoga a collective global responsibility.
Speaking at the 11th International Yoga Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam, the Prime Minister called upon the countries to adopt yoga not only as a personal or cultural practice, but also to adopt humanity as a power to unite. The program was organized on the beautiful beach of Visakhapatnam, where the Indian Navy ships were stationed near the coast, which led to the gorge of the festival. Millions of yoga lovers, residents and dignitaries of Andhra Pradesh joined with Prime Minister Modi.
