Mamata Bnerjee's on Wakf Amedment Act: Mamta Banerjee's big announcement, Waqf Amendment Act will not be implemented in West Bengal, Mamata Bnerjee Declares, Wakf Amendment Act will not be implemented in Bengal

New Delhi. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has made a big announcement amid the ongoing controversy over the Waqf Amendment Act. He says that the Waqf Amendment Act will not be implemented in West Bengal. Addressing a program in Kolkata, the Chief Minister said that I know that people of minority community are saddened by the implementation of the Waqf Act. Trust, there will be nothing in Bengal so that someone can divide people and rule here. He said that all of us should live with harmony and I will protect minority people and their property.

Mamta Banerjee’s statement came at a time when the Central Government has issued a notification to implement the Waqf Amendment Act only yesterday. At the same time, violence was also erupted yesterday during the protest against Waqf Amendment Act by Muslim organizations in Murshidabad, West Bengal. When the police tried to stop the protesters who were taking out the procession, they pelted stones at the police. Not only this, many trains were also set on fire. Some policemen were also injured in this incident. Earlier, there has been a protest in protest against Waqf law at Patna and other places.

On the other hand, Union Minister of State for Education and West Bengal BJP President Sukant Majumdar said that we already doubted that 26000 teachers would try to divert attention from the issue of loss of 26000 teachers. This is a fully state -sponsored violence. When the CAB was passed as CAA, we still saw such violence in the state. Hindus of West Bengal suspect that the state will become ‘West Bangladesh’ due to the politics of appeasement of Mamata Banerjee. Earlier, BJP has demanded Mamata Banerjee for her resignation.
