New Delhi. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh merged into Panchatattva. He was cremated with state honors at Nigam Bodh Ghat in Delhi. Manmohan Singh was burnt to death by his daughters. Many dignitaries including President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, BJP President JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Robert Vadra attended Manmohan Singh’s last rites. Joined the journey. Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi also shouldered the mortal remains of Manmohan Singh.

Earlier this morning, Manmohan Singh’s mortal remains were kept for some time from his home to the Congress office for last darshan. Here many people paid tribute to Manmohan Singh with tearful eyes. During this time, the people who came to pay their last respects to Manmohan Singh consoled his wife and daughters. The former Prime Minister was saluted by the three armies. Along with the family members, many political personalities also placed wood on the funeral pyre of Manmohan Singh. Let us tell you that after Manmohan Singh’s health deteriorated on Thursday night, he was taken to Delhi AIIMS where he died during treatment.

After this, on Friday, the mortal remains of Manmohan Singh were kept at his home for last darshan. The condolence resolution was passed in the Congress Working Committee meeting held in the evening. Congress asked the central government for land for the memorial of Manmohan Singh, to which the government agreed. A condolence resolution had already been passed in the Modi cabinet. PM Modi had said that the demise of Dr. Manmohan Singh ji has brought deep pain to the hearts of all of us. His passing is a great loss for us as a nation. His life will continue to teach the coming generations how heights can be achieved by rising above hardships and struggles.
