6 people died after the breakdown of the ropeway carrying goods on Saturday at Mahakali Temple Shaktipeeth in Pavagadh in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. The local police and the fire brigade team immediately reached the spot as soon as the incident was received. Rescue operation continues.
According to the information, the trolley fell into the ground below the height due to the breakdown of the ropeway wire. Many people have also been reported injured in the accident. At the same time, the dead include 2 lift operators, 2 laborers and other two people.
Actually, two different ropeways are built in Pavagadh. One ropeway is to bring devotees to the Mahakali temple, while the other ropeway is designed only to carry goods and construction materials. The accident took place in this cargo ropeway.
