One of these major decisions was to cancel the visa of Pakistani citizens. Now the Indian Ministry of External Affairs has given detailed information about how long the citizens of Pakistan will have to leave India.
Pakistanis order to leave the country by 27 April
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has informed that according to the decisions taken in the CCS meeting in view of the Pahalgam terror attack, the Government of India has decided to suspend the visa of Pakistani citizens with immediate effect. All the existing valid visas issued by India to Pakistani citizens will be canceled from 27 April 2025. At the same time, medical visas issued to Pakistani citizens will be valid only by 29 April 2025. The Ministry of External Affairs has said that whoever is currently Pakistani in India should leave India before the end of the revised visa period.
Advice to return Indian people
The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has also issued strict advice for the Indian people in Pakistan. The ministry has also advised the current Indian citizens present in Pakistan to return to India as soon as possible. The Ministry of External Affairs has also given strict advice to Indian citizens to avoid traveling to Pakistan.
