New Delhi. Police has achieved another major success in the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Police have arrested the fourth accused related to the incident, Zeeshan Akhtar, from Jalandhar, Punjab. Zeeshan Akhtar is said to be a resident of Shakar village of Nakodar area of Jalandhar. His age is only 21 years. Police caught Zeeshan under a special operation in Jalandhar.
Met Lawrence gang in jail
According to police sources, Zeeshan Akhtar was arrested in the year 2022 in a case of murder and robbery. During that time he was sent to Patiala jail, where he met the notorious Lawrence Bishnoi gang. After being released from jail, Zeeshan started working with the gang.
Provided logistical support for the murder
According to sources, it was Zeeshan who directed three shooters to carry out the Baba Siddiqui murder and provided them with logistical support. This included everything from room rental to other facilities. Zeeshan had also taken the responsibility of keeping the three shooters together in Mumbai.
Was arrested in 2022
In the year 2022, Zeeshan Akhtar was arrested by Jalandhar Police in a case of murder and robbery. At that time, he was caught using WhatsApp on a foreign number, which can be gauged from his vicious nature.

Released from jail on June 7 this year
According to the police, Zeeshan Akhtar came out of Patiala jail on June 7 this year. After leaving the jail, he first went to Gurmel’s house in Kaithal district of Haryana and from there planned to send the shooters to Mumbai. Zeeshan has studied till 10th class from the government school of his village. His father Muhammad Jameel is a tiles contractor, while Zeeshan’s brother works with his father. However, Zeeshan has entered the world of crime and is now in the custody of the police.
