Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday targeted the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress, alleging that the two opposition parties are against the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill as most of their leaders are either in jail or are on bail.
The bill was introduced in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday which has been sent to the Joint Committee of Parliament. In this, it is proposed to remove the Prime Minister, Chief Ministers and Ministers for 30 days after arrest in serious criminal charges.
After inaugurating several projects in Gayaji, Bihar, Modi said that RJD and its colleagues consider Bihar only their vote bank and everyone in the state knows that RJD leaders have always been involved in corruption.
Modi said, “No major project was completed in Bihar during the rule of RJD and Congress. He never thought about the good of the public, just kept on filling his pockets. ”On the issue of illegal immigration, he said that demographics are changing rapidly in the border districts of Bihar. He accused RJD and Congress of supporting infiltrators.
Modi said, “We will not let the intruders take away the rights of the people of the states.” RJD and Congress are supporting these intruders. They are involved in appeasement politics. People of Bihar should be cautious about such parties and such leaders.
The Prime Minister said that the projects launched in Bihar today will provide employment to the people of the state and improve the health structure. He said that 16,000 pucca houses have been given in Magadh region of Bihar today and their government is committed to providing such houses to every poor family in the country.
The Prime Minister said that the NDA government is committed to strengthening the infrastructure of railway in Bihar.
Referring to ‘Operation Sindoor’, the Prime Minister said that after the killing of our citizens in Pahalgam by terrorists, he fulfilled his promise made in Bihar to avenge the attack.
Earlier, Modi started several projects worth Rs 6,880 crore including 660 MW Buxar thermal Power Plant Project in the district.
Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary and several Union Ministers, State Ministers, MPs and MLAs were also present on the occasion.
