Rain in many states

Many parts of the country received rain today, including many districts of Delhi, UP and Haryana. Regarding this, IMD i.e. India Metrological Department also released a report, in which he gave figures which are shocking. According to IMD, the highest rainfall has been recorded in New Delhi after 124 years i.e. the second time of 1901 in the month of May. The highest rainfall was recorded in these 124 years just once in 2021.

IMD said, since 1901, the second highest rainfall was recorded in 24 hours in May. Till 8:30 am today, Delhi recorded 77 mm of rain. At the same time, since 1901, the second time in May has recorded the highest rainfall in a day, earlier on 20 May 2021, the highest rainfall was recorded, which was 119.3 mm in a day.

Why did this rain?

The IMD said that it received rain due to torrential rains caused by the moisture made from both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal. The IMD said that the moisture and air in the area made of both the Arabian Sea and the Bay of Bengal, as well as the lower and central-favorable-favorable syllable conditions promoted heavy rains.

Many visits took place in Haryana, UP and Delhi

Please inform that there were 4 deaths in Najafgarh due to this torrential rains in Delhi, as well as the news of vehicles getting stuck in traffic and many flights were late. Along with rain in Delhi, there was a strong storm, due to which 40 flights were late.

Here in many places in UP too, reports of rain and lightning were revealed. 5 people have died in the last twenty four hours due to lightning in UP. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also announced compensation for the deaths of the people. The CM expressed condolences to the loss of life and the families of the injured in these accidents. Also, the District Magistrates have directed to give immediate compensation.

All 22 districts of Haryana also recorded strong rains with thunderstorms in the morning. Meanwhile, there were also damage due to electricity and storms from the sky. Lightning was lost at 2 houses in Jind and Hisar, causing great damage to the houses. At the same time, two vehicles collided in Hisar at 5 am due to heavy rains and an elderly person died. Car filled with water drowned near the underpass in Faridabad.
