Tussle Between Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti: Vibani Jung on social media between Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, know what is the matter, War of Words Between Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti

New Delhi. There has been a war between Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on social media. In fact, after the cancellation of the Indus Water Treaty, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called for the revival of the Tulbul Navigation Project. On this, Mehbooba Mufti said that making weapons of necessary and life -giving things like water is not only inhuman, but also the risk of making bilateral matter international. While retaliation, Omar Abdullah accused Mehbooba Mufti of gaining cheap popularity and making some people sitting across the border.

While sharing the video on social media, Omar Abdullah wrote, “The civil work you are watching is Tulbul navigation barrage. It was launched in the early 1980s, but had to leave it under the pressure of Pakistan citing the Indus Water Treaty. Now that the Indus Water Treaty is temporarily suspended, I hope that we will be able to resume this project. This will also improve the power generation of downstream power projects, especially in winter.

On this, Mehbooba Mufti said that Omar Abdullah’s call to revive the Tulbul Navigation Project is very unfortunate. At a time when both countries have returned from the verge of complete war, such statements are not only irresponsible, but also dangerously inflammatory. In response, the Chief Minister wrote, “In fact, the unfortunate thing is that with your blind craving to gain cheap popularity and to please some people sitting across the border, you refuse to accept that the Indus Water Treaty is the biggest historical betrayal with the interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. I have always opposed this treaty and I will continue to do so.

PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said that time will tell who wants to make whom. To this, Omar replied that whatever you want to advocate for the interests of you, keep doing it. I will keep advocating the interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir so that we can use our rivers for our benefit. I am not going to stop water, I will use it as much as possible for myself.
