Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken a pledge to make Uttar Pradesh a leading state in deep tech, IIT Kanpur has started fulfilling it. There is an attempt to make talent, technology and startup the basis to make Uttar Pradesh Deep Tech Capital. The Chief Minister believes that Uttar Pradesh’s role will be the most important in making India a technical superpower in the coming years. In such a situation, the focus of the Yogi government is that Uttar Pradesh not only becomes a leader in startup ecosystem, but also proved to be the engine of innovation for the whole country. According to the intention of the Chief Minister, IIT Kanpur has set a target to make UP a capital of deep tech. It can be said that the Yogi government’s commitment, the expertise of IIT Kanpur and the strength of the alumni network will lead Uttar Pradesh to a new era. This vision based on deep tech will bring not only the state but the technological progress of the entire country to new heights.
CM Yogi took the initiative
Chief Minister Yogi said in a program organized at IIT Kanpur on Wednesday that India’s first Deep Tech India will take shape in 2025 Uttar Pradesh. For this, an influential summit (summit) should be held, where scientists, researchers and startups from all over the country together prepare solid roadmaps. The center of this initiative should be made by IIT Kanpur, which already has the ability of national leadership in deep tech innovation. The Chief Minister also said that land has been allotted for deep tech hub in Gautam Budh Nagar district and it can be realized in collaboration with DRDO, ISRO and other top institutions.
Work on new discoveries related to intensive scientific research
IIT Kanpur is leading this ambitious mission of the Chief Minister. There are already hundreds of startups incubated here and new discoveries related to intensive scientific research are being done. According to a survey, 75% of 410 alumni (alumni) i.e. 307 alumni are ready to mentoring startups or students. About 63% (257) will help in giving understanding and consultation of the industry, while 46% (189) will promote partnership and collaboration. Not only this, 21% (87) is ready to bring the alumni industry to the state and 15% (63) are ready to give financial investment. This makes it clear that IIT Kanpur will contribute unprecedented in giving speed to Alumni deep tech vision.
UP will become India’s innovation engine
Talking about startup ecosystem, Uttar Pradesh is moving fast towards deep tech startup capital today. A target has been set to incubate more than 250 deep tech startups. Their total valuation will be more than Rs 2.5 lakh crore. It is estimated that these startups will generate more than 10,000 direct employment in the coming time. This will not only provide employment to the youth in the state, but will also help in making the state self -sufficient by stopping the local talent from going out. This vision of the Yogi government is towards making Uttar Pradesh a producer and innovation-driven state from only one consumer state. Projects related to research and development will not only be limited to the laboratory, but they will be converted into a product and transported to the market. This process will make Uttar Pradesh an innovation engine of India in the coming time.
