The Mumbai Traffic Control Room received a threatening message on its official WhatsApp number on Friday. It said that on the day of Ganesh Visarjan (Anant Chaturdashi), bomb blasts will be carried out in different parts of the city.
The message sender claimed that “Human Bomb” and RDX have been installed in vehicles in many places and a major attack has been planned. He described himself as a member of a Jihadi organization in Pakistan and said that 14 terrorists have entered Mumbai. As soon as this message was received, the police immediately started investigation and started investigating its truth.
Earlier on August 29, Patna Civil Court received a threat of bomb blast by email. Security was increased as soon as the information was received and the bomb disposal squad and dog squad conducted a complete search. However, nothing suspect was found there and the case turned out to be false.
A high alert was issued in Bihar on Thursday as intelligence input was told that three terrorists from Pakistan have reached Bihar via Nepal. The police increased vigilance in all the districts and also released pictures of suspected terrorists.
Earlier, the ISKCON temple in Mumbai also received threatened email. The police immediately conducted a search operation and ensured the safety of the devotees and staff.
