Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla said on Sunday that he was ‘shy and shy’ in childhood and had never dreamed of going into space in puberty.
In a program of the Indian Air Force, Shukla said that he heard the stories of Rakesh Sharma’s historic space flight, but by puberty he did not think that he would go on a space trip. He said that he was shy and shy in childhood. Shukla said, “In childhood, we used to hear stories of Rakesh Sharma’s space journey.”
The astronaut also shared his experience of recently concluded to be a part of the Axiom 4 mission. Through this mission, he became the first Indian to travel to the International Space Station (ISS).
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh honored four astronauts of Gaganyaan Mission including Shukla and said that Gaganyaan Mission is a symbol of a ‘new chapter’ in a trip to self -reliant India.
