The central government believes that the construction of Vadhavan Port in Maharashtra will also increase business and industries in the surrounding area. Export based units will be rapidly set up in this area. Apart from this, employment opportunities will also be available due to the construction of Vadhavan Port.
Vadhavan Port will be built near Dahanu city in Palghar district of Maharashtra. The specialty of Vadhavan Port will be that it will be on the route of ships passing through the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean and will provide direct connectivity.
