Rajnandgaon. Between the slopes of the third wave of Corona, more than 24 lakh people of the district have reached the circle of protection from infection. That is, they have been vaccinated with anti-coronavirus. The first dose has already been administered to 100% of the people. Now 88 percent of the people have also been given the second dose. That is, the effective effect of the vaccine is being seen in the third wave.
Prior to this, the recovery rate of patients suffering from COVID in the third wave has been very good as compared to both the waves. Health care workers, front line workers as well as 18 thousand 971 people in the age group of 60 and above 60 have also been given publication doses. According to the guidelines of the government, from January 31, the second dose of Covaccine is being administered to children in the age group of 15-18 years.

It is noteworthy that while ensuring the availability of sufficient quantity of vaccine in the district, more and more vaccination centers are being vaccinated. A total of 24 lakh 4 thousand persons have been vaccinated since the inception of vaccination. At the same time, the second dose 10 lakh 84 thousand 497 has been given.
Appeal: Take the second dose
Chief Medical and Health Officer No. Mithlesh Choudhary informed that more and more vaccination centers have been set up for first, second and publication dose for all eligible age group citizens. So that people can be vaccinated quickly. The beneficiaries who have not taken the second dose after the prescribed time period are appealed to come to the nearest vaccination center and follow the corona protocol and take their second dose compulsorily.
