Jagdalpur. Dr. Vijaylakshmi, principal of Government Kakatiya Postgraduate College, Jagdalpur, the largest institute of higher education in Bastar division, has said that the environment of education is increasing rapidly in Bastar. The students here are going to get education in reputed educational institutions of the country. Students are also going abroad to study in the field of higher education.
There is absolutely no dearth of talent among the students of Bastar, only talent needs to be nurtured. Dr. Vijayalakshmi said this while addressing a workshop organized by Incubation Center in association with ThinkB, an undertaking of district administration to help students develop startup business.
Where did it happen?
The Chief Guest of the program, Assistant Collector Suruchi Singh, underlining the importance of Think B, asked the students to develop the scientific temper as mentioned in the Constitution. He said that a good idea is the cornerstone of any startup. This idea can come in the mind of students of any subject. The purpose of Think Bee is to provide support to realize that idea.
He said that students need to take calculative risk. Where maximum profit can be earned with low risk. Professor Himanshu Aggarwal, Professor of Government Engineering College, Ajay Devangan, Nodal Officer of ThinkB, Fellow Abhishek Chandrakar, Resources Counselor Dr. Sanatkumar Sahu also guided the students in the workshop by giving valuable suggestions. Abhishek Chandrakar explained the working of ThinkB to the students through a power point presentation.
Funding Guidance Mentorship based on Idea
He said that Funding Guidance, mentorship and support is provided by Think Bee based on the ideas of the students. This scheme is being supported by IIM Raipur, IIIT Naya Raipur, Hidayatullah National Law University and Tata Institute of Social Science. It is noteworthy that Think B has been established by the district administration for startup. It was inaugurated on 24 November 2021 by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at Women’s Polytechnic College, Dharampura.
Professor Vimal Ratre, Professor BN Sinha, Professor AS Jha, Professor Abhishek Bajpai, Dr. Shoaib Ansari, Professor Ghanshyam Thakur, FR Sahu, CL Sidar, Sachin Singh Rajput, Pooja Gupta, Preeti Singh, Prashant Yadav, Shirish Srivastava etc. Educationists were present.
