Srinagar . Security forces on Sunday arrested four associates of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and busted a terror module in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir. These terrorist allies were providing logistics and transportation to the terrorists in the districts.
On specific inputs, security forces recovered a Chinese grenade at Ashtango village in Bandipora and arrested terrorist associates identified as Irfan Ahmed Bhat, Sajjad Ahmed Mir and Irfan Ahmed Jan.
“During a ‘naka’ (checkpost) at Rakh Hajin in Bandipora district, security forces arrested a terrorist associate, Irfan Aziz and recovered a Chinese grenade from his possession.”
‘Irrfan was in touch with Pakistan based terrorist, Umar Lala.’
“Irrfan was planning to carry out terrorist incidents in Hajin area with his Pakistan based terrorist,” he said.
“In both these cases, the Bandipora and Hajin police stations have taken cognizance of the crime,” police sources said.
