4 Indian players including Dhoni can say goodbye to IPL
Many players will get a chance to debut in this season of IPL.
New Delhi. The 17th season of IPL started from Friday. Many players will be seen making their debut in the current season, while for many this season may be the last. A day before the start of this T20 league, MS Dhoni stepped down from the captaincy. Dhoni will turn 43 in July. As a player, he is serving CSK this season. But this could be the last IPL of this legendary player. Along with Dhoni, there are three Indian players who can announce their retirement after IPL 2024.
The most successful captain of IPL, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) has won the IPL trophy 5 times to Chennai Super Kings under his leadership. The great wicketkeeper batsman Dhoni has achieved everything in his career. After his retirement from international cricket in the year 2020, there is speculation about Dhoni’s retirement from IPL also. If some reports are to be believed, there has been a discussion about the future between CSK and Dhoni. Considering injury and increasing age, Dhoni may not be seen in IPL next year.
It is fun to ‘finish’ difficult matches… I told Mahi Bhai… the hero of CSK’s victory told the story of becoming a finisher.
