New Delhi. Today is an important day for India in the field of mobile revolution. 5G mobile service is going to start in the country from today. PM Narendra Modi will launch 5G mobile service at Indian Mobile Congress IMC at Pragati Maidan in Delhi at 10 am. During this, Modi himself will see the use of 5G services of Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. This is the sixth edition of IMC and its theme has been kept as New Digital Universe. 5G mobile service makes it possible to connect at a much faster speed than 4G. Billions of mobile devices will be able to share data through 5G simultaneously. With this, you will be able to download movies in the blink of an eye as well as deal with all the online work through mobile.
Apart from inaugurating the India Mobile Congress and 5G, PM Modi will also see its live usage by Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone. It has been named 5G use case. In the use case of Reliance Jio, PM will talk to the children of Dhyanjyoti Savitribai Public School in Raigad, Maharashtra. Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde will also join this program. In the second use case of Jio, Modi will connect with the children of Ropada School in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. State CM Bhupendra Patel will participate in this program. In the third use case of Jio itself, the children of a school in Odisha’s remote Mayurbhanj will talk to the PM. CM Naveen Patnaik will also be involved in this program virtually. In the use case of Airtel, Modi, a student of Dankaur, UP, will happily connect through 5G. Khushi will be brought on stage through a hologram. CM Yogi from Varanasi will join this program. At the same time, in Vodafone’s use case, Modi will have a conversation with the worker who is building the metro tunnel. In this, LG Vinay Saxena of Delhi will be there.
Let us tell you that Mukesh Ambani’s Jio has taken the maximum share in the 5G spectrum auction. Jio had made a bid of more than 87946 crores. It has acquired nearly half of the spectrum put up for auction. Airtel has bought spectrum for 43039 crores and Vodafone for 18786 crores. Apart from this, the Adani Group has bought 400 MHz spectrum for the use of its own company at a bid of Rs 211 crore.
