Patna. Voting for the third phase of Lok Sabha elections has been completed. In the third phase, voting was held in five Lok Sabha seats of Bihar, Supaul, Madhepura, Araria, Khagaria and Jhanjharpur. During the third phase of elections, about 60 percent voting took place in Bihar. According to the data released by Bihar Election Commission, the total voting percentage in Bihar was 59.80 percent. Bihar Election Commission told during the press conference that till 6 pm, 62 percent voting took place in Supaul district of Bihar, 61 percent in Madhepura, 62.50 percent in Araria, 58 percent in Khagaria and 55.50 percent in Jhanjharpur.
Let us tell you, this figure released by the Election Commission is the probable figure till 6 o’clock. There may be slight changes in the final figures due to people standing in queue. In the third phase, voting took place only till 4 pm in 167 polling stations. There was an uproar at booth 182 and 183 in Beldaur of Khagaria. Voting was also disrupted here due to fighting between two groups. EVM machines were tampered. According to Bihar Election Commission, home guard Mahendra Sah, who was engaged in polling work in Araria, died due to heart failure. Whereas in Supaul, presiding officer Shailendra Kumar died due to heart failure. Election Commission officials said that ex-gratia amount will be given to the families of both.

This is the reason why the voting percentage is said to be higher in the third phase as compared to the first two phases. After the end of the third phase of elections, claims of victory have also started from political parties. Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi have claimed victory after the elections are over. Regarding the third phase of voting, Rabri Devi claimed that the Grand Alliance is winning all the seats. BJP just keeps talking beyond 400. But speaking does not help. The public has made up its mind that this time BJP has to be defeated and INDIA alliance has to win. At the same time, Rabri Devi has also claimed about her two daughters Misa Bharti and Rohini Acharya that both will win the elections.

At the same time, Lalu Yadav has also claimed that BJP is being wiped out from the entire country and India alliance is winning. In Bihar, our alliance is winning forty out of forty seats. On the other hand, NDA leaders have also claimed victory on all five seats in the third phase. BJP State President Samrat Chaudhary said that along with the country, there is a storm of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Bihar too and if the figure of 400 is crossed across the country, then NDA will win 40 seats in Bihar. Due to better weather in the third phase, enthusiasm was seen among the voters which is a positive sign for NDA.
