7th Pay Commission: There is good news for government employees. The government has given gifts to the employees before Holi. Announcement to increase dearness allowance by 11%. Actually, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given this big gift to the government employees on his birthday. CM has given relief to 7 lakh government employees of the state on Saturday. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the employees due to increase in DA.
31 percent dearness allowance
CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that from April 1, 2022, all the employees will start getting 31% dearness allowance at par with the Centre. This includes a total of 6.40 lakh regular and 60 thousand workloaded employees including IAS, IPS, IFS, state government officers, employees and teachers. Till now they were getting 20% DA. With the increase of 11% dearness allowance from April 1, the total DA will be 31%.
Monthly salary will increase so much
After increasing the DA, the monthly salary of the employees will increase from two thousand to 25 thousand. This will increase the burden of six thousand crores on the government in the financial year of 2022-23. The state government had increased the DA on Diwali from 12% to 20% last year. At the same time, the government has decided to give a risk allowance of Rs 150 per month to the cleaning workers.
Increase in DA of center employees fixed
In October last year, the Shivraj government increased the increase of dearness allowance, which was stalled for two years, by 12% to 20%. Now as soon as the third wave weakens, it has announced an increase of 11%. However, the position on arrears of up to two years is not clear. Central employees are getting 31% DA from 1st July 2021. At the same time, 3% increase in their dearness allowance has been fixed. Now Central employees and pensioners will get DA at the rate of 34%. The 12-month index average for Dearness Allowance is 351.33, with an average of 34.04%. However, Dearness Allowance is always given in whole numbers. In such a situation, from January 2022, the total DA will be 34%.
