Gurugram. In Delhi NCR’s Gurugram on Friday, a car carrying a policeman dragged him for 100 meters after hitting him when he stopped his car. A constable of the traffic police, Ajay Pal, signaled the car to stop, but it did not agree and collided. The constable has been injured in the incident. He has been admitted to a nearby private hospital.
The traffic officer said that due to the crowd on the road, the driver could not escape with the car and he was arrested. He said that this incident happened on Friday at Sector 4/7 Chowk at around 6 pm. Constable Ajay Pal, who was injured in this incident, was posted on traffic duty here.

Pal has said in his complaint that a white car was going from Chowk towards Sector 9 and its glasses were black. Pal said in this that when he asked the driver to stop the car, he hit him and loaded him on the bonnet. The constable said, ‘I shouted and asked the driver to stop the car but he kept driving the car with me on the bonnet for about 100 metres.’
When the car got stuck in the traffic jam, the driver stopped the car and then other policemen caught him. According to the police, Pal was injured in this incident and was admitted to a private hospital. On Friday, on Pal’s complaint, an FIR was registered against the accused under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code at New Colony police station.
Police station in-charge Avtar Singh said that the police has arrested the car driver Amit and he is a resident of Barauna village of Sonipat. Singh said that the accused has been issued a challan by the traffic police and he has been released on bail for the time being. He said that investigation is being done in the matter.
