But, if a 9-year-old child studying in the fourth class asks a question to the ISRO Chairman, then it can be easily imagined about the questions arising in his mind and the curiosity to know him. A similar case has come to light in Kerala. A 9-year-old student admitted in the hospital, studying in class four, met ISRO chief Dr S. Asked some questions from Somnath. The interesting thing is that Dr. Somnath replied to the child through e-mail and answered all his questions. This matter of question and answer between the two is much discussed.
Actually, 9-year-old Anant Padmanabhan is admitted in the hospital due to health reasons. Anant is a fourth grade student. Anant is very interested in space science. Therefore, he often keeps asking questions related to it. Anant, a resident of Chennakode in Varkala, studies in Rose Dale School. He is admitted in the District Ayurveda Hospital. Anant is suffering from an eye problem. Anant asked many questions related to space science to another patient admitted in his ward. The patient could not answer Anant’s questions, but definitely suggested a way to him. He told Anant that the Chairman of ISRO can answer his questions. Anant asked his questions by emailing a video message to ISRO chief Dr. S. Somnath.

ISRO Chief Somnath replied
After receiving Anant’s question through e-mail, ISRO chief Dr. Somnath himself answered it. Somnath answered all Anant’s questions as soon as he received the e-mail. He not only answered Anant by sending a video message, but also wished him a speedy recovery. Anant’s questions and Somnath’s answers are as follows:-
Anant’s questions: When will India send humans to the Moon?
Dr. Somnath’s Answers: India has planned to send humans into space in the year 2040. Next year it will also be sent under the Gaganyaan Mission.
Anant’s questions: Are there aliens on the moon?
Dr. Somnath’s Answers: There are no aliens on the moon.
Anant’s questions: Are there plans to send animals to space?
Dr. Somnath’s answer: There are no plans to send animals into space at present.
Anant’s reaction
Anant is very happy and excited to receive answers from ISRO Chairman Dr. S. Somnath. Anant said, ‘I am very happy that ISRO Chairman answered my questions. I am interested in space science. I want to know more about it. At present, I have not made any plans for the future, but I have a deep interest in space science.’
