After the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal yesterday, the court has today sent him on 6-day remand of ED. ED had sought 10 days’ remand of Kejriwal in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court, but the court has given remand of only 6 days. As soon as Arvind Kejriwal was sent on 6-day remand, BJP also released a poster on social media targeting Kejriwal. It is written inside the poster, “Hungama kyun hai barpa, thodi si jo pe li hai…”

While releasing this poster, BJP wrote, “Hungama kyun hai barpa…” Inside this poster of BJP, there are jail bars, behind it there is a cartoon of Arvind Kejriwal in a liquor bottle. It is written on the top of the bottle, “Why is there such a ruckus, I have drunk a little…” At the same time, people seen standing near the bars are seen saying, “I have committed robbery, I have also stolen.”
Kejriwal will remain in ED till March 28
Let us tell you that during the hearing today, Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court has sent CM Arvind Kejriwal to ED custody till March 28 in the excise policy case. Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyer Madan Lal said, “ED was asking for 10 days’ remand. He said that custodial investigation is necessary to trace the money trail. Considering all the aspects, the judge has given 6 days’ custodial remand. “Let him be produced here again on March 28.”
Arvind Kejriwal’s lawyer said that the ED argued that the money used for Goa elections was ill-gotten. ED said that they have statements of some witnesses which prove this fact.”
