new Delhi. After the big victory in Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has already started preparing for Himachal’s election.
Aam Aadmi Party’s national convener Arvind Kejriwal started the election campaign in the state along with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Wednesday. Kejriwal and Mann held a roadshow in Mandi and campaigned for the party fiercely.
Although many Congress leaders have already joined AAP before this rally, some are in touch with the party. Congress is suffering the most due to AAP’s activism in the state. The party high command has already started doing damage control so that the party does not bear the brunt of the loss in the elections.
In view of the activism of AAP, these days the Congress is busy in persuading its angry leaders. The high command is keeping an eye on the activities of the party. The churning round is going on in the Congress party from Delhi to Shimla on this matter.
On the other hand, if the Aam Aadmi Party is to be believed, party leaders, excited by the victory in Punjab, believe that in the upcoming Himachal Assembly elections, AAP will form its government as a better option by removing BJP and Congress. The people of the state have become unhappy with both the parties.
According to AAP leader and Delhi Health Minister Satendra Jain regarding Himachal, the way Arvind Kejriwal’s government has worked in Delhi, in the same way work will be done on local issues in Himachal.
Satyendra Jain said that on the demand of the public, we had chosen for a huge public meeting in Mandi for the rally. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party would soon project the Chief Minister’s face in the state. He said that elections in Himachal would be fought on the basis of local issues as a friendly match was going on between Congress and BJP, but this time it would not happen as the people of the state have made up their mind this time that now Aam Aadmi Party Will make it his base. He said that like the Delhi model, corruption will be eradicated in Himachal, apart from this, the problems of education, health, agriculture, horticulture and employees will be removed. He said that Himachal has immense potential in the tourism sector, which needs to be increased.
