Chirag Paswan
New Delhi: This time the guest on India TV’s popular show Aap Ki Adalat is Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan. He openly answered the questions of India TV Chairman and Editor in Chief Rajat Sharma.
Why is Chirag sad and hurt?
Chirag Paswan told AAP’s court that he is sad and hurt because he did nothing when someone abused his mother in front of Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav at a public meeting in Jamui. Paswan said, ‘If I were in Tejashwi’s place and someone had abused his mother, I would have given a befitting reply to that person.’
Chirag Paswan has already written a letter to Tejashwi Yadav demanding action against the person who abused him, while a complaint has also been lodged with the Election Commission.
Chirag Paswan said, ‘Tejashwi is like my younger brother. My father had close relations with Lalu Yadav and both used to work together.
Rabri my mother, Misa and Rohini my sister: Chirag
Chirag Paswan said, ‘Today I am sad. Today I am saddened by the fact that my family members were abused in front of the person whom I always called my younger brother. I speak openly, no matter which alliance I am in. I am not afraid to say that for me Rabri ji is my mother, and I consider her my mother. For me, Misa didi is my elder sister. For me, Rohini is my sister. I have a relationship with that family. Even though today I am in another alliance, I have always maintained that relationship.
Chirag said, ‘I fought the political battle with a big heart in front of each other. But today when my family was abused in front of Tejashwi, and the way he remained silent, it pains me. If I were in Tejashwi’s place and if any member of his family was being said in this manner in front of me, I would have given a befitting reply. I would have lodged a strong protest right there. There is absolutely no scope for this kind of language. You can make the strongest protest by remaining within limits.
