It is worth noting that on January 5, two persons were killed in a village under Khejuri police station area when bombs allegedly being made were detonated. According to the information received, both the persons who died were Trinamool Congress workers. Three others were also injured in the blast. In this case, the ruling Trinamool Congress in Bengal had alleged that the BJP was behind the blast. The TMC had then said that the BJP goons had carried out the incident. However, the BJP had vehemently denied these allegations.
There was also a clash between TMC and BJP supporters in Khejuri after the incident. The National Investigation Agency took over the investigation of the case on January 15. Now NIA has taken action in this.
