Along with this, the motor pumps which are closed these days, have been asked to get them repaired and started within 15 days. During the inspection, it was said that at present sufficient quantity of water is available in the ponds. Special care has to be taken that the common people do not have to face water scarcity during the summer days.
Significantly, there was enough turn in the 2021 monsoon. Although less rainfall was recorded as compared to 2020. There has been a total of 34.4 inches of rain in 2021. Due to this, sufficient amount of water is being seen in the ponds these days. In this, three MCM water is available in Sitapat, one MCM in Natnagara, two MCM in Dilavara Dam, one MCM in Nayapura pond. At present, water supply work is being done in the city except for two days.
Keep motor under alternate arrangement
In the coming days, the temperature will increase in the summer season. During this, it is seen that due to the burning of water motors many times on the ponds, the work of water supply is affected somewhere. But this time CMO Shukla visited the ponds on Friday and ordered the water in-charge to make arrangement of water motor as an alternative. In this, if for any reason there is some problem in the motor, then it should be replaced immediately. Due to this there should not be any delay in the work of water supply. Along with this, guidelines have been given for cleanliness around the ponds. At the same time, the motor pumps which are closed these days, as well as where there is leakage problem, have been instructed to get them repaired in 15 days.
Presently, the work of providing water by NAPA from all the four drinking water sources of the city has started. Water is being supplied to some parts of the city by taking water from Nayapura pond in Matarkund. At the same time, water from Dilavara, Natnagara, Sitapat is being supplied from the filter plant. At present, about three and a half months of water is left in the ponds. In such a situation, now NAPA will also have to pay attention to the theft of water. However, strict instructions have been given by the NAPA regarding theft of water. If anyone is found stealing water, action will be taken against him.
