After Delhi, the massive victory in Punjab has not only given a new impetus to the hopes of the Aam Aadmi Party, but the craze of the people regarding the Aam Aadmi Party has also increased. This is the reason that along with the announcement of being active in Rajasthan and contesting the assembly elections, there is a lot of curiosity among the people to join the Aam Aadmi Party. AAP’s craze among the people can be gauged from the fact that with the launch of the party’s membership drive in Rajasthan, a large number of people from the districts have left for the capital Jaipur. Not only this, a large number of people have joined the party by visiting AAP’s headquarters in Delhi even before the formal start of the membership drive in Rajasthan.
Membership taken at Delhi Headquarters
Advocate Motiram Mensa from Chahtan assembly constituency of Barmer district joined the party after reaching AAP party office in Delhi. Mensa got the membership of AAP by Rajasthan in-charge Vinay Mishra. Mensa told that after joining AAP, he will campaign for AAP’s policies in the upcoming assembly elections. Mensa is one of the influential faces of the Meghwal community of Barmer and it is being speculated that Mensa may be the face of AAP from the Scheduled Caste reserved Chahtan assembly constituency.
Sarpanch’s army left from Barmer
The Aam Aadmi Party’s craze is also speaking loudly in the border district of Barmer, adjacent to the India-Pakistan border. Alam is that on Sunday, the army of sarpanches has left for Jaipur to participate in the proposed membership drive in the capital Jaipur and join the party. It was told that after filling about 4 to 5 buses, the Sarpanch and others have left for Jaipur from Barmer, where they will take the membership of the Aam Aadmi Party.
Alumni leaders are also not behind
Along with sarpanches, many former student leaders are also in line to join the Aam Aadmi Party. It was told that many current and former student leaders have also left for Jaipur on Saturday, where they will formally join the party after meeting Aam Aadmi Party’s state in-charge Sanjay Singh and election in-charge Vinay Mishra.
Are you avoiding big faces?
Political experts say that like Punjab, the Aam Aadmi Party is making a strategy to connect with the common people working on the grass root, avoiding big faces in Rajasthan. AAP leaders say that there is about one and a half years left in the assembly elections, in such a situation, the party wants to develop political understanding of Rajasthan as well as understand local issues by coming in direct contact with the people associated with the grass root.
You will become a new option after Ralopa!
Political experts are also speculating that after Hanuman Beniwal’s National Democratic Party, now Aam Aadmi Party will become a new alternative for the angry leaders of Congress and BJP in Rajasthan. Although BSP was one such option till now, but after the merger of two BSP MLAs with Congress, BSP is losing its support base in Rajasthan. Taking advantage of these equations in the last assembly elections, Hanuman Beniwal’s Ralopa not only won four assembly seats, but in many assembly seats, party candidates had chewed on the candidates of BJP and Congress. In such a situation, political experts believe that the Aam Aadmi Party can be a fourth and strong option for the angry leaders of Congress and BJP in Rajasthan.
