A small mistake of his made a new headman in Moongre village of Bihar proved fatal for him. After winning the election, he lost his life for not giving the party to the Naxalites of the area. The Naxalites had killed Parmanand Tuddu, the new chief, by slitting his throat. The incident took place in Mathura village of Azimganj panchayat in Munger district. It is heard that the reason for the murder was that the chief did not give the party to the Naxalites after winning the elections.
According to the report of Aaj Tak, Mukhiya’s son Abhishek told the police that around 6 to 7 Naxalites entered the house late in the night. He picked up Parmanand Bhai and started tussling with him. Till now Parmanand had not even taken the oath of the head, he had already been murdered. Villagers say that the Naxalites had asked the villagers to support the second chief. Although the villagers voted for Parmanand in the elections, seeing his humility and his work, and this is the reason why the Naxalites got angry and killed him.
Prior to this, in the year 2016, Parmanand contested the elections even after the Maoists refused. Although he contested the election that time also. But he was defeated. After this, this year also the Naxalites refused him but he still did not agree and he contested the elections. However, this time he had won. This was the only reason that the Naxalites killed him. Villagers say that they have been threatened by the Naxalites that if anyone opens their mouth about this, then it will be very bad for everyone. That’s why the villagers are silent.
