Lucknow. Samajwadi Party and Congress are in the Indian alliance, but there is a tussle going on between them over the distribution of Lok Sabha seats in UP. Amidst this tussle, Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav today gave one blow after another to the Congress. Akhilesh Yadav earlier clearly said that he will join Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra only after the distribution of seats from Congress.

Shortly after this statement of Akhilesh, Samajwadi Party announced its candidates from 11 more Lok Sabha seats of UP. Samajwadi Party has also decided to give ticket from Ghazipur seat to Afzal Ansari, brother of jailed mafia Mukhtar Ansari.

Samajwadi Party has nominated Rajesh Kashyap from Shahjahanpur, Usha Verma from Hardoi, Rampal Rajvanshi from Misrikh, RK Chaudhary from Mohanlalganj, SP Singh Patel from Pratapgarh, Ramesh Gautam from Bahraich, Shreya Verma from Gonda, Virendra Singh from Chandauli and Neeraj Maurya from Amla to the Lok Sabha. Has announced to make a candidate. Thus far, Samajwadi Party has announced its candidates on 27 out of 80 Lok Sabha seats in UP. He released the first list on January 30. Akhilesh Yadav’s party had announced the names of 16 candidates in that list. Among them were Akhilesh’s wife Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri, Ravidas Mehrotra from Lucknow and Shafiqur Rahman Burke from Sambhal.
Today, with the announcement of the latest list of candidates by Samajwadi Party, it is clear that Akhilesh Yadav is preparing to enter the electoral fray on his own amidst talks with Congress on the distribution of Lok Sabha seats. At the same time, Congress is saying that talks are going on with SP. According to sources, Congress is demanding more than 20 seats as per the 2009 results, but Akhilesh Yadav is not ready for this. The special thing is that Jayant Chaudhary, who was Akhilesh’s ally in the past, has decided that his Rashtriya Lok Dal i.e. RLD India will withdraw from the alliance. Jayant Chaudhary is going to join the BJP camp soon. Akhilesh Yadav had earlier announced to give 7 Lok Sabha seats to Jayant Chaudhary’s RLD.
