Ekadashi March 2022. Ekadashi fasting has special significance in Hinduism. According to the Hindu calendar, there are two Ekadashi fasts in every Hindu month and observing the fast on every Ekadashi fast with full rituals gives different results. Amalaki Ekadashi is fasting on 14th March and special importance of Ekadashi March is also shown in religious texts. Amalaki Ekadashi fast is observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Falgun month. Ekadashi March is also known as Amalakya Ekadashi.
Amalaki Ekadashi 2022 auspicious time
The date of Ekadashi March 2022 will start from 10.21 am on Sunday, March 13 and will end at 12.05 pm on Monday, March 14. Ekadashi March: Amalaki Ekadashi fast will be observed on Monday, March 14, and hence Ekadashi fast will be observed on March 14 only.
Worship method of Ekadashi March 2022
First of all, after worshiping God, worship the gooseberry tree. First of all clean the land around the tree thoroughly and sanctify the place under the tree with cow dung.
After this, make an altar at the root of the tree and install the Kalash on it. Invite the deities, shrines and the ocean to this Kalash before performing the puja.
Keep fragrant and Panch Ratna in the Kalash. Also, after placing the Panch Pallav on top, keep the lamp lit. Put the paste of Shrikhand sandalwood on the Kalash and wear clothes.
At last, install a golden idol of Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu, on top of the Kalash and worship with full rituals.
Meditate on God while reciting Bhagwat Katha and Bhajan-Kirtan at night.
On the next day of Ekadashi fast, on the day of Dwadashi, feed the Brahmin in the morning and offer Dakshina along with the idol of Parashurama to the Brahmin. After that take your own food.
Mythological significance of Ekadashi March 2022
According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Vishnu has given the name of Amla as Adi tree and every part of Amla tree is considered to be the abode of God and it is believed that worshiping Amla and Shri Hari on the day of Amalaki Ekadashi will lead to salvation. and life is healthy.
