New Delhi: With the sound of Lok Sabha elections, the Congress party has suffered another setback. Now party spokesperson Gaurav Vallabh has announced his resignation from all posts. He has also shared the resignation letter in a post on social media platform X. Gaurav Vallabh wrote in his post that the Congress Party is moving forward without direction and I am not feeling comfortable in it.
Gaurav Vallabh further wrote – I can neither raise anti-Sanatan slogans nor abuse the wealth creators of the country in the morning and evening. Therefore, I am resigning from all posts and primary membership of the Congress Party.
Earlier on Wednesday, boxer Vijender, who won a medal in the Olympics, left Congress and joined BJP. Vijender Singh had contested the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from South Delhi on a Congress ticket but lost.
For the last few days, his name was doing the rounds as the party’s candidate for Mathura seat. BJP has once again made Hema Malini its candidate for Moothra seat. Congress party was considering the name of Vijender Singh to compete with Hema Malini.
