ICC Rankings Update: A new ranking has been released by ICC. At present, not much Test and ODI are being played, because T20 World Cup 2024 is in June, hence more cricket is being played in this format. Meanwhile, some major changes are being seen in the new rankings released by ICC. Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza, meanwhile, have jumped up the rankings by performing well.
Shakib Al Hasan and Wanindu Hasaranga number one all-rounders
In the ranking of all-rounders in T20 done by ICC, Bangladesh’s Shakib Al Hasan remains on top, but now he is not the only topper, Wanindu Hasaranga has also joined him. Shakib’s rating is currently 228 and Hasranga’s rating is the same. Both these players are on top at present. Shakib is where he was before, but Hasranga has jumped one place.
Sikandar Raza gained two places
If we talk further after these top 2 players, Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan is in third place. His rating is 218. On the other hand, Sikandar Raza of Zimbabwe has jumped two places. He has now reached fourth place with a rating of 210. South Africa’s Aiden Markram and Marcus Stoinis have suffered a loss by going ahead of Hasaranga and Sikandar. Aiden Markram has now moved up to No. 5 with a rating of 205 and Marcus Stoinis has moved up to No. 6 with a rating of 204. Both of them have had to come down one step at a time.
Hardik Pandya also included in top 10 all-rounders
Meanwhile, only one Indian player has managed to make it to the list of all-rounders. India’s Hardik Pandya remains at number 7 with a rating of 185. Whereas England’s Liam Livingstone is at number 8 with a rating of 175. The other players who made it to the top 10 are Moeen Ali at number one and Nepal’s Deependra Singh Erey at number ten. Deependra has also jumped one place and is now at number 10. His rating is 169.
