Today the court will hear the arrest
Arvind Kejriwal had filed a petition in the High Court against his arrest, on which the court will hear today. It has been emphasized in the petition that the arrest has been done illegally. Let us tell you that Kejriwal had filed this petition on Saturday but the hearing could not take place due to Holi holidays. But the matter will be heard today. Now it has to be seen whether the decision is in favor of Kejriwal or not.
what is the whole matter
Let us tell you that Kejriwal was arrested in the excise policy corruption case on the night of March 21. Earlier the ED had come for questioning after sending several summons but then suddenly the arrest was made. After which the lower court had sent Kejriwal on ED remand till March 28, which will end tomorrow. After which there will be a hearing in the court. On the same matter, ED says that CM Kejriwal is the main lead of excise policy corruption and this was happening on his instructions. He was using his position to hide corruption.
