New Delhi. The ED remand of Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is ending today. The investigating agency will present him in Rouse Avenue Court. It is believed that ED may still seek further remand of Arvind Kejriwal. There is also news that CBI is also preparing to take remand of Delhi CM in the liquor scam case. Amidst all this the discussion is that what is Arvind Kejriwal going to reveal in the court today? In fact, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal had claimed that on Thursday her husband will tell in the court what is the money trail of the liquor scam. That is, Arvind Kejriwal will tell where the illegal money earned in the liquor scam was used.
ED and CBI have not yet received the cash in the liquor scam case. ED claims that the Aam Aadmi Party used the amount of Rs 100 crore received from the liquor scam in the Goa Assembly elections. The investigating agency claims that many Aam Aadmi Party candidates contesting the assembly elections in Goa have given statements to it that they were given cash from the party for campaigning during the elections. Apart from this, many other accused in the liquor scam have given statements to the ED that they had transferred money to Aam Aadmi Party people and were part of the scam. Now everyone’s eyes are on what Arvind Kejriwal claims in the court today. However, there is also a question that if Kejriwal has evidence of money trail in the liquor scam, then why did he not appear before the investigating agency on 9 summons of ED and give information about it.
On the other hand, politics has also heated up due to a statement by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena said in a news channel program that he is assuring the people of Delhi that the government will not be run from jail. On this statement of the Lieutenant Governor, Delhi Government Minister Atishi has asked the question that when the Aam Aadmi Party has the majority, how can the Central Government impose President’s rule? Atishi has said that if President’s rule is imposed in Delhi, it will be in the spirit of political vendetta.
