New Delhi: In the midst of the Lok Sabha elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has knocked the door of the Supreme Court. Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the Supreme Court. In this petition, Arvind Kejriwal has demanded extension of his interim bail for 7 days. Arvind Kejriwal has cited his health for this. Arvind Kejriwal has expressed the suspicion of having some major disease. Sources gave this information.
According to sources, Arvind Kejriwal suspects that he is suffering from some serious illness. He said in his petition, ‘My weight has reduced by 7 kg after my arrest. My ketone level is high. I may have symptoms of some serious illness. Max doctors have examined me. Therefore, I need to get a PET-CT scan and several tests done.’ Citing health, Arvind Kejriwal has asked for 7 more days to get the tests done.
When does Arvind have to surrender?
Actually, Arvind Kejriwal is out on interim bail in the Delhi liquor scam case. The Supreme Court has granted him interim bail till June 1. He will have to surrender on June 2. The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Arvind Kejriwal only for campaigning in the Lok Sabha elections. Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by the ED on March 21 in the Delhi liquor scam case, since then he was lodged in Tihar Jail under judicial custody.

Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail after about 51 days. The Supreme Court gave him the freedom to breathe in the open air for only 21 days. This decision was given by a bench of Justice Sanjeev Khanna and Justice Dipankar Dutta in the Supreme Court. This case is related to alleged corruption and money laundering in the formulation and implementation of the Delhi government’s excise policy for 2021-22. This policy has now been abolished. Manish Sisodia has also been arrested in this case.
