IPL 2024 Matches Reschedule: IPL 2024 is being played in a very grand style. Fans are getting to see exciting matches every day. BCCI had released the schedule of the first phase for IPL 2024. Then after the announcement of general elections, the schedule of the second phase was also released. BCCI has now changed the schedule in the middle of IPL 2024. There has been a change in the dates of two matches. Let us know about it.
Changes happened in these two matches
The match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals was to be played on 17 April 2024 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, but now this match will be played on 16 April 2024. Apart from this, the match between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals was to be played on 16 April 2024 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which will now be played on 17 April. Changes have taken place in these two matches only.
The final match will be held on 26th May
10 teams are participating in IPL 2024. This time the qualifier matches will be played in Ahmedabad and Chennai. The first qualifier match will be played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Whereas, the eliminator match will be played on this ground on 22nd May. While the second qualifier will be played on May 24 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The final match will be held on 26th May at Chennai ground.
These teams have won the IPL title
In the history of IPL, Chennai Super Kings have won the trophy five times under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Mumbai Indians have won the trophy five times under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma. Kolkata Knight Riders team has won the trophy twice. The teams of Rajasthan Royals, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Gujarat Titans have won one IPL title each. The teams of Delhi Capitals, Punjab Kings and RCB have not been able to win the IPL trophy even once.
